• The improvements made since our last assessment have helped to consolidate overall quality levels,
  resulting in an increased score which is encouraging to see
• Housekeeping throughout the property was found to be very good to excellent, with attention to detail noted in
  the finish
• The bedrooms have been the subject of some very good improvements since our last visit such as the
  alteration from bunk beds to twin beds within the children's bedroom and a new wardrobe. This has improved
  the overall ease of use of the room. To other bedrooms dressing table facilities and mirrors have been
  provided, a new velux window has been installed to the top bedroom, which doubles as a fire escape and two
  new chests of drawers have also been added creating additional storage. Other aspects that have been
  improved are seasonal duvet choices with Winter and Summer tog ratio
• The bathroom remains very good with all aspects presenting to a very good standard.
• The biggest change to the kitchen has been the addition of a dishwasher after frequent guest comments and
  the addition of plenty of crockery to allow for dishwasher use
• There have been some very good improvements to the rear window above the courtyard which has been clad
  in Cedar wood, and although not directly obvious to guests has been a considerable expense
• The above comments were made by the 'Quality in Tourism' inspector following her visit in March 2010

  Thankyou both so much for the use of your wonderfull house. It was amazing.. The extras you left for us where really kind..The house had so much character!! St Ives was even better than the summer as it wasn't so busy..We walked for miles, visited the Gallery, ate at the Sea Food Cafe and had a bottle of your champer's on the beach Christmas day. When my husband said he was booking a cottage in Cornwall, my mind saw the 1950’s!! So a great surprise & relief when we walked into this beautiful cottage.Spacious, modern, very well equipped and most importantly CLEAN! We also had a perfect base for seeing the west of Cornwall.Slight moan – taller kitchen needed – my hubby’s 6ft 4 a perfect excuse for not cooking or washing up!Loved it – thanks for having us.Be back again
